Well, I had lots of client work to do (ya money)... But this meant less time to be over-the-shoulders of those 2... They didnt too much but man they are terrible listeners! What is so wild is that when they are apart, they are both such AMAZING kids.. put them together and its like a failed chemistry experiment - obnoxious noise, followed but an incredible mess.

Guess what? Only a month left until school! woohoo!

Tom does half days on Fridays. He thought since Cole always begs to go to work with him, he'd give in and take him one day. Fridays are good days since they are short (7:30 to 11:30). Only thing is, Cole had to be good. Works for me and I get a break from having Cole around which makes Hunter behave better.

It's now 10:47 am.

I was feeding Owen. Cole screams down the stairs, "Can I have this toy, Mom?" I knew right then the answer was probably 'no'.

"What toy, Cole?", I screamed up the stars (still feeding O).

"The Animal Train." I saw red!

-- Let me note where the Animal Train was. In our play room we have 2 crawl-space closets. They are a good size and run the length of the room (above the garage). The kids would go in so we put on a childproof latch. That didnt work and they'd pull so hard they'd rip the thing off the wall (which is now missing paint). So Tom installs Hook & Latches as high as he could on the doors. --

I knew Cole had opened the door as Hunter is not tall enough to do it and i don t think he'd know what to do anyway. I was fuming and said, "You are NOT going to work with daddy tomorrow."

Well.. I think a couple of dogs exploded upon hearing that scratch.

They are still both screaming and fighting. granted only 5 minutes after I started this post but still.

What was the latest fight? Hunter comes in and says "Watch Pingu." I told him to go watch it. He said, "Colie no watch." So I go into their bedroom and find Cole changing the channel when he knows Hunter loves Pingu. BRAT!

off to stir the sauce...

Yesterday was actually a decent day.... must have been the hell the day before that they put me through that leveled them out.

It's only 8:11 am so who knows what today will bring..... hopefully only good things but I do have some work I need to do which means SOMETHING is gonna go wrong! :)

Some days I wont post because my children are actually acting like well-behaved kids which isn't too often.
Some days I wont post because I am too busy dealing with these monsters or a cranky baby.

Then there are days in between like today....

Today I thought it would be nice to bring them to the movies (its free) to see Veggie Tales Pirate Movie. It went like I thought... a near disaster. Hunter would stay seated. Cole got rambunctious. Luckily all it is is young kids and its free so you don't feel quite as bad. When were sat we were out of the way but it was still a hassle. Maybe next year (I've been saying this for 2 years now).....

Yesterday.. it was one of those days I COULDN'T post. Owen wanted to be held or he cried HYSTERICAL. The boys took advantage of that and caused tons of trouble. Most notable bad thing? The ceiling fan got broken. They (Cole admitted it was him but I know Hunter was there at least roting him on) bent every blade down so instead of being parallel to the ceiling like a fan should be, the blades were bent straight down almost perpendicular to the ceiling... Tom was far from happy about this.. I'll leave it at that.

Sigh......

Yup.. it's another one of those days! It all started when I came up stairs and Owen started crying. As I run down stairs, I hear Cole saying, "I didnt men it. It's ok". I knew something was wrong. There he is, holding Owen's hands trying to make him stand up (Owen can stand assisted). I said, "Cole! What are you doing?" And he yelled and then let go of Owen and ran. Owen fell forward and slammed (hard) his head in the chair. I scooped him up. he was wet with pee... oh but not his own. Apparently, Hunter peed on him. Cole tried to make Owen happy but picking him up (he NEVER does stuff like that). So they got in trouble and it hasn't ended yet. They are each other's throats. Throwing things, yelling. Whatever I say NOT to do, they do! Owen has been sleeping awhile, his poor head musta hurt. I keep checking him though.. he's ok. I dont know how on earth I am gonna make it through this summer with those 2 all day and all night and no breaks and since there is all-year schooling here, Lauren can't even come over and occupy him (my 5-year old niece who lives down the block). UGH!
